DB Game JamThis week we are doing our best to raise money for the children and play this extremely boring game. Some viewers have taken it upon themselves to join us in a manic journey, but they’re trying to make games that are WAY better than what we play.

The Desert Bus Game Jam is looking to repeat the success of last year in creating Desert Bus themed games during the same time that we bus. Last year had eleven entries and anyone is open to join in and jam a game together. In addition to the Desert Bus theme there is an additional bonus theme of Sleep Deprivation, go nuts!

It’s past 10am on a NEEEEWWW DAAAY! So you know what that means…

To begin this day 3 of Desert Bus, why not check out some amazing Silent Auctions?
All of these end at 6:00pm PST.

To start, we’ve got a Paper Craft Kirby Shadowbox!

The shadowbox features several small cave scenes, showcasing Kirby and some of his many lovable partners seen in the game, as well as sparkles and treasure galore! Look at all that beautiful detail!

This auction is currently going for just over $250, but you’ve got lots of time to get that up there!

Next up we’ve got a wonderfully detailed yarn work Desert Bus on a plastic frame.

Made entirely from plastic canvas and yarn, it’s the little details that put it over the top:
-real plastic windows
-“Desert Bus” destination sign
-Loading Ready Run logo on the roof
-Desert Bus for Hope logo on the back
-and, of course, a tree air freshener hanging in the front windshield

This is going for over $1000 already!

And last we have another yarny wonder, a Dr. Mario Cross-Stitch.

A painstakingly detailed replica of the front cover of Dr. Mario’s first big portable adventure on the Game Boy.

This lot is going for just over $500.

You’ve got the touch, you’ve got the powaaaaaahhhhhhhh….to release Desert Bus VR whenever YOU want. Gearbox software has completed a VR version of Desert Bus (that you’ve been able to see James and Matt play on stream) and the only thing left to do is figure out a release date.

That’s where you come in.

Any donations of $6.90 or multiples thereof for the next 45 minutes until 4 PM PST will give you a chance to be the one to release Desert Bus VR. That could be today, that could be a week from now, it could be six months from now (It’s gotta be before May 31st 2018).

That’s not the biggest thing though. You will get access to the game immediately, with the ability to give keys to as many people as you want. Your name will be on the STEAM page for the game as the person credited with releasing the game. Your handle will also be the default user name for the driver.
