We’d like to take a moment to thank our caterers, Toque Catering. As most of your know, a lot of the Desert Bus crew are stuck here for many MANY hours during the run and, as as it turns out, we need food and drink to survive (who knew, right?). Molly Lewis writes songs and plays the ukulele. She is a regular performer at W00tstock, participated in Jonathan Coulton’s January 2011 JoCo Cruise Crazy, and has toured multiple times with The Doubleclicks. In 2014 Molly wrote and performed an original musical, Thanksgiving vs. Christmas. Holy Smoke and Mirrors, it’s Penn Jillette!

We’ve got Penn calling in for his usual antics and jovial enthusiasm! Keep an eye out for that around 11am PST today!

Penn Jillette is an American magician/illusionist, juggler, comedian, musician, inventor, actor, and best-selling author known for his work with fellow magician Teller as half of the team Penn & Teller.  More importantly (to us at least), he’s a big part of how we’re all here doing what we do. Penn & Teller’s Smoke and Mirrors for the Sega CD contains the Desert Bus mini game and without it, Desert Bus literally wouldn’t exist!
