026_001_SpidermanPainting

So, you’ve just been bit by a radioactive spider, or pig, or painting, or what have you and you are looking for something to decorate your new spider-cave? Look no further than this one-of-a-kind Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Resin Painting. It’s the only one in the multi-verse guaranteed!

Drawing from Miles Morales’ iconic spider-suit from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, this 12in x 12in painting was made by painting a little bit at a time and carefully covering each layer in a thick layer of high gloss epoxy resin. The background is textured black and grey paint with the web detail painted in three dimensional “puffy” fabric paint to emphasize the 3D effect offered by the resin. The graffiti inspired text reads “What’s Up Danger?” from the Spider-Verse soundtrack occurring during one of the most visually memorable scenes of the movie. With no less than 5 layers, the painstaking layering of paint and resin gives painting a deep three dimensional effect while simultaneously being extremely shiny.

Donate $6.16 (or multiples thereof) for a chance to win this prize. We’ll run this donation drive until 5:00pm PST.
