Momocon

We here at Desert Bus for Hope would like to take a moment to thank one of our returning prize sponsors for this year’s event, MomoCon.

Fans of Japanese Anime, American Animation, Comics, Video Games, and Tabletop Games come together to celebrate their passion by costuming/cosplay, browsing the huge exhibitors hall, meeting celebrity voice talent, designers, and writers behind their favorite shows, games, and comics and much much more over this 4 day event.

Thank you MomoCon for your continued support of Desert Bus for Hope!

MomoCon opened it’s doors to the public for the first time in 2005 as a free convention in Atlanta, GA. The evolution of the Techwood convention in 2004 put on by Georgia Tech’s anime club Anime O-Tekku, MomoCon has risen to become one of the top 10 anime conventions by size in North America.

MomoCon is an all-ages convention with a  focus on Japanese and American animation, comics, video games and tabletop games. In their most recent year they attracted 15,000 attendees and expect that number to keep growing!

We thank MomoCon for providing us with a host of amazing things to auction off and give away, chief among them this gorgeous Blue Spirit Mask
