Luxie is part of a grand tradition, stretching back to ancient times: once a child has reached the age they wish to go off adventuring, a grandparent figure will make them a plush chocobo to go with them, protecting them from harm and keeping them company until they return. They’re very good listeners, these chocobos, lending an ear in exchange for head scritches and hugs. This one in particular has chosen Luxie as their name, and would love to accompany an adventurer of any age!

Sitting at 11 inches tall and 7 inches wide, made of acrylic yarn and polyfil, they are squeezably soft and just poseable enough for a little expression.

Donate $7.14, or multiples thereof ($14.28, $21.56, etc.) until 8PM PST to be in with a chance of wining!

Earlier in today’s Alpha Flight shift, we challenged the community to come up with their best Desert Bus Food Truck menu. Here’s the winning entry, submitted by Darth_Wooper:

Dessert Bus for Hope
FoodRaising for the kids!
(50% of the proceeds of every sale will be donated to Child’s Play Charity)

Today’s Menu:

– Dawnfogatto
Two scoops of vanilla or dulce de leche (caramel) ice cream in a cup, drizzled with a shot of freshly brewed espresso.

– Alpha Fried Ice Cream
One very large scoop of vanilla ice cream fried in a light batter, then drizzled with your choice of chocolate, caramel, or 100% pure Canadian maple syrup.

– Night Waffle Cone
Two scoops of any available flavor of ice cream (see today’s list on the other side of the window), with up to three toppings and a side of utter madness.

– ZetaBites
You thought nachos were always a savory dish? Our fresh-toasted-daily tortilla chips are sprinkled with cinnamon sugar then topped with vanilla ice cream, hot fudge and/or caramel, chopped maraschino cherries, and whipped cream.

– Omega Split
Banana split with EIGHT scoops of ice cream (any flavor) (one scoop for each day of the run), chopped nuts, rainbow sprinkles, and the bittersweet syrup of another year of bussing behind us.

Thank you to everyone that submitted their creations to this challenge!
