Daniel Beck won the Desert Bus Desert Buck contest by designing the perfect monetary currency of Desert Bus, but he didn’t let a little thing like winning stop him from continuing to make more!

Although the official term “Desert Buck” means a denomination of $22.805 (the amount of money raised by Desert Bus 1 for the woefully unknowing) Daniel has determined a Desert Buck to indicate the total raised by each year. In this way it seems more like a “Desert Bond” or a “Desert Stock”, but either way it’s freaking awesome.

Here are his other denominations!

Tally loves costumes and dressing up in costumes (as all right thinking people should). During her shift she donned her Tigger/Hobbes costume and asked all of you to submit your costume photos. There were so many that it was really hard to choose a winner, but in the end we randomly selected Kia Ora’s Gundam Style costume.

Tally’s favourite was this costume by Leoma Silfren of Zora from Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

And here are the rest! These photos make me want to dress up right now!

It’s a little known fact that Graham Stark is in actual fact a planeswalker, a powerful mage able to travel across the planes of existence. We challenged you to create an image of Graham showing off his mystical abilities.

The winner was Simon Sweetman! Here’s what he says about his entry: ” I felt like Graham is more of a “managerial” planeswalker so to speak. I wanted to get across that he would have the Green mana equivalent of control magic… A beastmaster of sorts. Fun fact: The LRR logo is in the image in 3 places: On the chest plate, on the underside of the arm and on the embroidery of the fabric at the bottom.”

Runner up was Caitlin Ryther!

Honourable mentions are Stephanie Martin, Rhiannon McCullough, Ellie Ryan, and K. Schmidt!

Plus Aaron created this rad Flash game about Graham!

Thanks to everyone who entered, we loved looking at your artwork!
