Man, do you love Desert Bus? Do you want to express your love of Desert Bus with… a shirt? How about a soft, super awesome looking shirt designed by the good folks at Fangamer? Turns out we can meet those very, very specific needs!

We are thrilled to unveil the official shirt of Desert Bus for Hope 6!

Designed by the illuminous Jon Kay and printed on Creme or Brown American Apparel 2001 shirts (2102 for the ladies) by the road warriors over at Forward Printing in California, these shirts bring to mind the iconic signage of Las Vegas to really capture the “busperience.”

Available by pre-order only, all proceeds from the sale of the Desert Bus for Hope 6 shirt go directly to Desert Bus — it’s a great way to prolong our suffering and fill your closet!

Remember, this shirt is available for a limited time only, just like the Desert Bus! Orders must be placed by 8:00 PM EST on Nov. 22, 2012. After that, this shirt will be gone forever.

Please note these shirts will not ship until early to mid January, and won’t be available in time for Christmas.

In 30 minutes we’re beginning the live auction of this one of a kind DB6 stained glass suncatcher!

“One of a kind,” you say. “What about the one from last year?” You say.

Yes, you may recall the beautiful stained glass suncatcher we auctioned last year, a piece much like this one, but that one had the number 5 in the center. NOT a 6.

6 is the magic number for this year’s commemorative Desert Bus suncatcher. This inspired piece of DB memorabilia is a collaboration piece between TsukiakariUsagi (also known as Emily) and another DB Crafter, Helen Cowart. Emily used the same design as last year’s Desert Bus 5 piece, and sent it to Helen, who cut the glass and fused the main plates for the top and bottom halves of the centre piece. Helen then shipped those to Emily, who put everything together in its final design for this year’s Desert Bus 6 logo. So this suncatcher is not only beautiful and vibrant, but also well traveled! The piece is approximately 18.5 inches in diameter, and the chain for hanging gives it another 3 inches in total height.

This is Emily’s second year doing pieces for Desert Bus – she did the LRR Logo and DB5 Logo last year and was absolutely dumbfounded at the amount of money they went for. This year she’s excited to do more pieces to reach more people and help raise even more money for the children!

The auction goes live at 10:00 AM PST!
