This year, we’ve asked our community to share what Desert Bus for Hope and Child’s Play means to them, and what impact they’ve had on their lives. Here is a selection of these community submissions…
My childhood was spent too sick to leave my home but I always had TV and video games to help me get through the pain, fear, and loneliness. Being able to help children who have to deal with the same struggles but without the comfort of their own home is an honest joy <3 #DBtoMe

Our pup Yuki is 3 today and he's keeping us good company while we watch @DesertBus. We bribed him with puppy cake. #DBToMe pic.twitter.com/KX4ZOX9xa6

@DesertBus led me to a huge change in life and the best job I've ever had. As one of the Patient Techs that @CPCharity funded, I have been able to help kids Play Games and Feel Better. Because of amazing Child Life guest callers in previous DB runs, I found my passion. #DBTOME

Desert Bus is one of the things I most look forward to every year. I've been watching for 8 years now. DB has helped me through some of the hardest and busiest points in my life. There is so much kindness and joy to experience. Much love from me and Whaleiam Pladdington #dbtome pic.twitter.com/eqLypEAu3p
