I’ve really enjoyed seeing your crossovers with other channels/tubers like React, Grace Helbig, and Nerdist. I’m curious what percentage of you is usually like:

    or
“OMGBBQ I get to hang out with Hannah Hart!!!1!”

Follow up question, Which of those factors is involved with your call in for Desert Bus.

  8. Hey, Ian here!

Is the surrealism in Vsauce videos intentional, or incidental? That is, do you choose subjects and subject shifts intentionally to create a feeling of dreamlike strangeness, or is it just a side effect of the stream of consciousness style of presenting the subjects?

  27. Hi Michael,
Almost all of us have one question. We always wonder how scientists at Space Agencies are able to monitor billions of stars and distinguish each and every one of them correctly as well as document them and their EM radiation spectrum, and also blueshifts/redshifts etc. For example how do you know that a light is actually blueshifted ? what if its original wavelength itself is that much ? How do you know the absolute luminosity of a Star ? or any other object in distant space for that matter ?
A video covering all this would be fantastic!!!

  28. Howdy Michael!
I would like to ask two questions. (If I can still do so…) They’re quite simple, yet I would be really glad if you could answer… Firstly, could you tell me what is the title of the mysterious music played at the beginning of your latest D.O.N.G video (“19 Simple & Brilliant Websites”) and also, at the beginning of the “Did The Past Really Happen?” video? It is so familiar… Secondly, and more importantly, could you give me a source for your 5-year atom-replacing period statement in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=coGfGmOeLjE? (I mentioned it on a biology lesson, and my teacher doesn’t accept youtube sources…)
    Thank you in advance!
