After much deliberation Cam has finally chosen the winner of his Desert Bus driver challenge! Congrats to Jon, who wins a set of From the Vault: Exiled, very generously donated by Wizards of the Coast.

Honorable mentions go to David and Donovan!

And here’s the rest of the entries!

  3. Huh. Just realised that the colon is meant to be on the other side of the ‘Discard X cards’ . That’d have to be part of the cost, not part of the effect…

  6. Is it me or is the winner not THAT busted as Cascade on a 1cmc card is not that good

  7. Aw, yeah mine isn’t here either`:(

And Bertie 1 mana cascade is in fact very good if you know what to do with it. First turn cast this, automatically hit Hypergenesis, and then drop your hand into play, with stuff like Emerakul, Progenitus, and other super-fatties. Granted you can only do this in legacy or vintage now, but it’s broken none the less. And in modern you can still do silly stuff with it and Living End, or just run it as an ancestral recall with Ancestral Vision.
