Hey everybody, some unfortunate news to report. The planned Desert Bus pre-show with LRR composer Bradley Rains will not be going ahead this year due to a family emergency.

In Bradley’s own words:

Dear LoadingReadyRun and Desert Bus fans,

It’s with a heavy heart that I write to you today to tell you that the LoadingReadyLive! Desert Bus pre-show has been cancelled. My father has had not one but two medical emergencies in as many days this week. He’s stable now, and the prognosis is good, but I must attend to him at this time.

I will continue to make music for LoadingReadyRun, and we WILL do a free live show for you in the near future, I promise!

Thank you all for your love and support over the last two and a half years, and happy Desert Bussing!

Additionally, from me personally, I know Bradley was putting massive effort (and a lot of money) into this show, so if you happen to have a couple bucks around that aren’t earmarked for Desert Bus, his Paypal address is [email protected]

He’d never ask for it himself, because he’s an awesome guy like that.

Thanks.

  1. That’s too bad. I’ve had similar trouble with both my father and my grandfather recently, so it’s completely understandable that he would need to attend to that. I’ll be sure to pass him some money.

Hopefully this doesn’t come across as untactful, but are there plans for any sort of replacement, even if it’s just a couple LRR guys sitting around talking? I just want to make sure if I should still be tuning in early.

  2. There currently aren’t any plans for a pre-show, no. We’ll be too busy prepping, right up until we go live.
    Sorry!

  3. No problems. Hopefully things will turn out better next year and/or when Bradley does that live show.

  4. Thoughts go out to Bradley and his family right now. I know how stressful all that can be from personal experience. Definitely glad to hear things are stable now and hope things continue to get better. I enjoy and appreciate all the work he’s done on the music front and look forward to that live show in the future.

Just let us know when your father gets out of the hospital so he can keep kicking bus on the music!
