Chances are, if you own a modern video game system, you’ve played or at least been exposed to a game overseen by this man: if not, then certainly one made on his engine. Mike Capps is the president of Epic games, creators of the Unreal series, the Gears of War series, Shadow Complex, and the forthcoming Bulletstorm and Infinity Blade.
Mike will be joining us to wish us well on our live boradcast today at noon, so be sure to tune in! Also, if you have any questions you’d like us to ask Mike, send them along and we’ll try to include them in the call.
What’s some advice for breaking into the industry?
Why was Gears 3 delayed? and can we expect a public demo before it is released?

1) I know you’re not involved in the development side of the business so much any more, but what issues have you noticed with Epic trying (and more or less succeeding) at foraying in to mobile devices like the iSeries?
2) People are starting to say that PC gaming is dead, as the President of a major player in both the console and PC development markets, do you agree?
3) When you look back and realise that many of the mainstays of Epic’s engine have become the standard for games not even using it (cover systems come to mind), do you feel proud or annoyed? 😛
what up lead you to work with people can fly to make bulletstorm?
…and when can I expect ZZT 3?
