We here at Desert Bus would like to take a moment to recognize one of our very generous drink sponsors, Jagasilk! We couldn’t make it through this event without the generous support of sponsors willing to provide us with the sustenance and energy we need! JagaSilk is a tea seller, tea bar, and tea academy based out of Victoria, BC, Canada. Their commitment to quality and ethical business truly set them apart, and make us love them even more. This year they have generously donated an assortment of teas and kombucha to the Desert Bus crew, as well as a matcha prize pack that was given away earlier in the run. From us here at Desert Bus for Hope, thank you, JagaSilk for keeping our bus on the road!!
UPDATE: Jared, the co-owner of Jagasilk was kind enough to provide a discount code for our viewers! Just enter DESERTBUS2024 at checkout for 10% off of your total order!

Today at 4am on Zeta, a tradition continues! Jared, owner and operator of Jagasilk, one of our illustrious sponsors will again take us through how to make and drink macha! It will be a little different this year, though. Jared is away in Japan meeting tea growers and learning even more about tea, so he's calling in! He'll guide us through the process of brewing our own macha, we'll be able to ask questions and learn more about tea, and hopefully, if we did everything correctly, we'll have tasty tea to enjoy at the end!
Make sure to tune in at 4am PST to watch!
Summer has come to an end, and teacher (the members of Zeta shift) wants to know what you did at camp! Did you engage in WET? Ride around in an innertube? Build lego? You tell us!
We don't have any file format requirements, so you can draw us a picture, write an essay, record a camp song, it's all up to you! Just make sure to email your entry to contest@desertbus.org with the subject line "What I did at camp", and please include the name you'd like to be shouted out on stream, as well as your pronouns.
Winner will receive a Desert Bus For Hope 2024 t-shirt, as well as a 2024 DBloon!!
Prepare your merit badges, mix up a batch of bug juice, and slather on that sunscreen, it's time for Camp Zeta! Tonight on Zeta, we're going to camp, and bringing you along in our duffle bag.

Just because we're at camp doesn't mean we're falling down on our duty to you! We have giveaways, we have silent auctions, we have lego, and we have a special call in from Jared from Jagasilk at 4am!!

If you've seen any of our Night Watch intros this year, you may have noticed a certain familiar theme. So we asked you all to make our dreams reality by drawing the Night Watch crew (and/or our enemies...) as Simpsons characters.
There were a TON of wonderful entries, and we had an incredibly hard time narrowing it down, much less choosing a winner, but we promised you a shirt and that shirt goes to:
Challenge Winner:
by Danielle Mijo-Burch

Simpsons Video Game by Casey aka TowerSlayer

Graham Stark Simpsona trading card by avjamethyst aka Angel

If you've been feeling like all your friends are so cool and smart because they're playing D&D every night, and they have all these cool books full of additional rules and classes and frankly, very pretty pictures… if that's how you've been feeling, then maybe it's time to check out a lovely store like Pegasus Games.
Pegasus donated the Dungeons & Dragons Instant Library Collection so you can catch up to your cool, smart friends in a jiffy. But their collection doesn't end there, and yours doesn't have to either! After a little quality time in their store (where you can also place online orders, by the way!), you will be the cool, smart friend with all the games.

Tonight we face our most daunting challenge yet: our are wets wet enough to out-wet the wet-loving Ian Horner? One the one hand, he's known for an adventurous palate and a willingness to like unexpected things (see also: Dump Trucks of years past).
On the other hand, Graham made Thicc Tang.

Watch the VOD to find out if Ian succumbed to the Wets!
Even when there's a lot going on - perhaps especially when there's a lot going on, it's important to make time to show love for your bey...blade. And that's exactly what we're gonna do to celebrate just having reached the $11,000,000 lifetime total raised for Desert Bus!
Let's get rippin'!

Beys of the Day:
- Logan v Julie (in Matt "Cat Enthusiast" Wiggins Memorial Stadium)
- Rachel v Max (in The Litterbox)
- Ian v Logan (in The Litterbox)
I thought this was supposed to be a bus, but y'all just keep on TRUCKING! Trucking all the way to $11,000,000 lifetime total raised in the history of Desert Bus!

We've been running Desert Bus for 18 years, and every single year brings new milestones that can only be described as humbling. No, on second thought, there are other ways to describe them: jaw-dropping. MIND-BLOWING! It is our honor, our pleasure, and our absolute WHAAAAA-face to be part of a community that together has been able to raise $11,000,000 for the children.
$11,000,000.
$11,000,000.
You all just bussed all the way up to $11,000,000 in lifetime donations! WHAT?! You're wild! Monstrous! Outta control!
Oh, and just in case we didn't make it clear: THANK YOU!
Did you know that if you watch enough Night Watch, the future will come true? Just like the Simpsons! That's what the Simpsons are famous for, right?

You can shape the future for yourself, too, at least insofar as you can make cool art and maybe get a free t-shirt out of it. A really cool t-shirt! Inspired by our nightly couch gags, we want you to draw our Night Watch members as Simpsons versions of themselves.
Send your art (in .PNG, .JPG, or .GIF format) to contests@desertbus.org with the subject line " Night Watch Simpsona " before 10:30pm PT. We'll pick one favorite to win a free shirt!
