Second we have Needle Felted Discworld Model

"See...
Great A'Tuin the turtle comes, swimming slowly through the interstellar gulf, hydrogen frost on his ponderous limbs, his huge and ancient shell pocked with meteor craters... In a brain bigger than a city, with geological slowness, He thinks only of the weight.
Most of the weight is of course accounted for by Berilia, Tubul, Great T'Phon, and Jarakeen, the four giant elephants upon whose broad and star-tanned shoulders the Disc of the World rests, garlanded by the long waterfall at its vast circumference..." -Terry Pratchett, The Color of Magic
This Discworld model is needle felted, which means that it is principally made of colored wool, stabbed with a barbed needle until it sits where it's supposed to. Inside both the Great A'Tuin and the Disc are foam discs for structure, and wooden dowels help the elephants support the weight. A'Tuin's ponderous limbs (and head) also contain armature wires for support, and some limited posability. The elephants' tusks are made with air-dry polymer clay. A'Tuin measures 19 inches (48cm) beak to tail, with a 22 inch (56cm) wingspan. Cori Celesti, the great mountain on the hub, rises 10 inches (25cm) above A'Tuin's belly.

If you didn't know, our lovely wonderful amazing Ashton has a BIRTHDAY TODAY! So we celebrated him and his special day by having every giveaway be $6.11, because of 11/16...but like backwards. We also gave him a birthday Dilly Bar! Every hour! Because birthday!

We also had lots of fun with a rousing game of Coffee Pong between our Engineering team!
Jen v Sarah, FIGHT!

Of course, while the engineering team was distracted, Ashley managed to sneak her way in. Who let her in there?!

And then she got access to the copilot seat. And rejected all of your Caillou nonsense y'all tried to pull.

And. Listen....we were all a little loopy after the full year of holiday celebrations yesterday, ok?

So maybe we got a little weird today. Or a lot weird! But it's ok because we had DJ TurnLRR to help us put a pep in our step!

And we wouldn't be Dawn Guard if we didn't have a mumblecore singalong to AAAAAFFRICCAAAAA!

And now that we're all sung out I think it's time for us to get a nice little nap in. So we'll see you tomorrow morning bright and early!
This incredibly niche and in-joke filled clock is an absolutely amazing creation. Whether or not you want to know if it's time for crab, or if you just want to know the time and have a very weird piece of art in your home, donate $6.11 or multiples thereof by 11:50am PST!

Unearthed from a storage unit behind a haunted doll and the lost fifth season of BOAT is this clock that was once a CFU"T annual fundraiser donation prize, and it is now available as a Desert Bus for Hope annual fundraiser donation prize! How meta! Featuring state of the art vintage wood paneling and more fonts and clip art than you can shake a box full of floppy disks at, this clock tells you exactly what is on CFU"T at all times. So throw that TV Guide in the trash (recycling hasn't been invented yet) because this clock is all you need to know whether it's Time for Crab.
If you love Desert Bus for Hope and all the various shenanigans we've done over the years, then you of course know of our four shifts. And if you also play MtG, or maybe Pokémon, or even just want a fun place to keep trinkets, these boxes are a perfect and beautiful collection for just about anything! If you'd like to win these boxes, donate $6.11 or multiples thereof until 10:30am PST!

These boxes are made of ash and maple, with epoxy windows and brass hinges. They are quite strong - an early prototype survived being spiked onto a concrete floor with only cosmetic damage. A clear polyurethane sealant provides some amount of protection from minor spills, and the exterior of the boxes can be cleaned with a damp cloth.

We've got some more silent auctions that end soon, so if you were interested in either of these prize lots you better keep a close eye on the clock! Both will end at 10am PST!

First up, we have these four Screen Printed Nintendo Posters were hand-screened and depict the first four Nintendo television consoles. Each poster is limited to an edition of five. Prints are 3 color ink layers on 11"x14" Bristol vellum.

Next we have some adorable little Mushroom Sprites. These little creatures can often be found in shady spots under trees and are friendly fun guys. Mushroom Sprites are cuddly stuffies made from patterns designed by Megan Lapp of Crafty Intentions, and crocheted by Jennifer Waldburger.
