LIVE AUCTION ALERT
November 20, 2025 at 02:30 PM PST
Posted by Dan Wu

Today at 3pm PST we have a live auction! This amazingly detailed plush of Rizzo the Rat from Muppet Christmas Carol will be up for grabs, all you need to do is a few things...

1) Be in chat! You bid in chat, and they will help you understand the commands needed to do it correctly. Please listen to mods, and don't make fake bids!
2) HAVE A DONOR ACCOUNT! Seriously. We can't give you anything if we don't have your information. This includes your phone number, which is needed for shipping purposes. We promise we don't do anything with your info!
3) Connect your donor account to your twitch account. It needs to be connected for your bids to be acknowledged, so if it's not you can bid all you want but bidbot will ignore you...and we don't want to make bidbot angry. Or Ashton. Or Fugi. OR ERIKA! So make sure you're doing this right.

This handcrafted plushie of Rizzo the Rat is attired in a white shirt, vest, and frock coat, ready for the big finale from the Muppet Christmas Carol. He also dons a top hat, cravat, and hand knit scarf. The Plushie is 19” (48cm) tall x 9” (23cm) wide and is stuffed through the body with fibrefill. He has bamboo armature and split peas through his feet and legs in order to let him stand on his own (but does benefit from leaning). The main body fabric is a thrifted Snuggie, with the clothing fabrics also thrifted and repurposed.  Trimmed areas (including hands, tail, eyelids, ears, nose, and other small pieces) are made of felt. The cravat and hat band are made of ribbon. He has buttons on both his vest and coat. His eyes are wooden and sewn into place.

The Final (Full) Dawn Guard
November 20, 2025 at 12:29 PM PST
Posted by Soraya

Referee Ashton has been training Liz in the art of Coffee Pong. For her final challenge, she thought she would be facing James - but everyone knows that the final challenge for a true apprentice is to face their own master! Referee Ashton becomes Coffee Pong Ashton!

It was a hard-fought battle on both sides, and Ashton had to overcome the additional difficulty of landing his final pong into a cup on the desk. But this time, it seems, the student is not yet ready to defeat the master:

And we had a wonderful time listening to Liz tell us her story, which we appreciate her for all the emotions this must put her through <3

We also showed off the Minecraft server...

And unlocked the full RDP song!!

We hope you're ready for Christmas...

We did so much more than that, but you can always check out vst.ninja if you want to see more of what our day had happening! And we will see you tomorrow! For now, we need a nap...

Art Challenge: Bear and Kate Adventure

Posted by Soraya

Just as we enjoyed our many adventures together on Dawn Guard, so Bear and Kate (who are friends) have loved their adventures both on-shift and off. Whether these two friends are cruising down the highway, sipping from French lattes, or having a musical interlude, they have a lasting bond. So we asked you to draw us some comic strips of Bear and Kate's adventures (because they're friends) in exchange for a lootbox! We had lots of amazing submissions showcasing Bear and Kate (who are friends) and we're excited to share some of our favorites!

P.S. Did we mention they're friends?

Winner: snailkane

Honorable Mention: PhoenixShaman (they/them)

Honorable Mention: JPrice Legendary (he/him)

Honorable Mention: PaintedPuffling (she/her)

Honorable Mention: Tascha (she/her)

The skill and artistry of our Desert Bus crafters amazes us every year. Hours sunk into the tiniest details, rare crafts resurrected to make beautiful objects, and completely one-of-a-kind objects to treasure forever. What could be better? IF you have the hankering to secure yourself one such unique prize, then check out this pair of crafted prizes in our silent auction!

You have until 6pm PT to cast your bids!

Street Fighter Pixel Art Lace

Look closely at this piece: it's not what you think it is. Each circle of this pixellated Street Fighter pair is made not of melted plastic bead art, but lace. Small, interconnected rings of lace that will look just as good on this display board as they would if you decide to sew them onto a snazzy outfit!

Final Fantasy Critter Cohorts

Come and snuggle your favorite Final Fantasy fauna, kupo! They've been made into amigurumi, or crochet critters. Just look out for the Tonberry's knife. He's as cute as he is deadly. But you can raise or lower his hood and put him in time out!

Sponsor Thank You: Fernwood Coffee

Red text reads "Fernwood, Coffee Company, Victoria BC Canada." It scrolls over a faded background image of a person's hands cradling a cup of coffee.

Thank you to our sponsor, Fernwood Coffee Company! Your life-saving brews have kept many of our shifts afloat and enabled the sheer athleticism that is Dawn Guard Coffee Pong. This is the coffee we drink in the office every day, and even our scandalous tea-preferrer (Soraya, who is writing this post) took a sip of Fernwood's coffee and said "yeah, I'll drink that daily."

Fernwood Coffee, you are the perfect swish that wins every game in our hearts.

Ashton throws a pong ball the at final coffee cup on James's side of the table. It arcs perfectly to land in the cup.

A set of five amigurumi (crochet) chickens, each in a different color: black, blue, white, orange, and brown. They look like Stardew Valley chickens.

With their pudgy bodies and beady eyes, these Stardew Valley chickens are the perfect cuddle buddies. Maybe they'd be willing to play co-op with you? Right?! Co-op? Coop?! You get it.

Now get them by donating $5.80 (or multiples thereof) by 10:30am PT!

Giveaway: Desert Bus Deck Boxes
November 20, 2025 at 08:05 AM PST
Posted by Soraya
A collection of four black deck boxes sits atop a Desert Bus shift banner. Each box has been decorated with an elegant shift logo (Dawn Guard, Alpha Flight, Nightwatch, Zeta) and a single scrolled line in the shift color (gold, red, blue, purple).

Whether they're holding Magic cards, Pokémon cards, or just a collection of short pencils and paper clips, these boxes will be with you 24/7. And unlike the Desert Bus shifts that provide their design aesthetic, they will be able to stay with you 365 days a year - if, of course, you're fortunate enough to win them in this raffle!

Donate $5.24 (or multiples thereof) before 9am for a chance to win!
