Shift banners crafted from anodized aluminum scales and jump rings for Dawnguard, Alpha Flight, Night Watch and Zeta Shift. The rings and scales come from a Canadian supplier, the design and assembly is done by hand, using two pliers and a lot of time. The scales provide a pixel-like aesthetic but with a diamond pattern instead of the squared pixel pattern, giving it a distinct look. Design and assembly took about 25 to 30 hours for each individual banner.
Each banner is roughly 25cm wide and 36cm in length, consisting of between 759 (Alpha Flight) and 977 (Dawnguard) scales and roughly 1600 to 2000 rings. These banners are sturdy, durable and can easily be cleaned with a microfiber cloth.

After losing interest in Magic the Gathering in 2023 a new hobby was needed. In 2024 Scalemail came along and since then I started to create small pieces of fantasy armor, making larger and more complex pieces. The patterns for Desertbus have been a new challenge, trying to recreate round patterns.
