Giveaway: Desert Bus Deck Boxes
Four closed deck boxes, sitting on a Desert Bus playmat. The boxes are made from a dark brown hardwood. The sides and tops of the boxes each have the logo of a Desert Bus shift, and the sides also have a stripe in a color of the same shift. The fronts of the boxes have a clear window showing the cards within, and the words "Desert Bus For Hope 2025" inlaid in blue. The bottom of each box is a drawer, also with the shift logo and a colored stripe.
A closer view of the Night Watch and Zeta Shift boxes, still closed. The Night Watch box is seen from the front; the card visible through the window is Alesha, Who Smiles at Death. The Zeta Shift box is seen from behind, revealing a small green pine tree engraved in the back of the lid and a maker's mark at the bottom of the box. Blurry reflections on the boxes show the glossy finish.
A closer view of the Dawn Guard and Alpha Flight boxes, now sitting open. The lids are removed and sitting on the playmat beside the boxes, showing green bug splats on the otherwise clear windows. The drawers are also open, showing that each one is full of colorful dice.
The Dawn Guard box standing alone. There are yellow stripes highlighting the rising-sun logo on the side and drawer, and the card visible inside is Cactus Preserve.
The Alpha Flight box standing alone. There are red stripes highlighting the wing logo on the side and drawer, and the card visible within is Untethered Express.
The Night Watch box standing alone. There are blue stripes highlighting the moon logo on the side and drawer.
The Zeta Shift box standing alone. There are bluish-purple stripes highlighting the Z logo on the sides and drawer,
All four boxes, this time stacked with the tops pointing toward the camera. The subtle patterns of the mother-of-pearl inlays are clearly visible.

If you're watching Desert Bus, there's a decent chance that you have piles of cards that need some organizing. If you clicked through to read about "Desert Bus Deck Boxes", you probably have some decks of cards that you want to put in boxes. And if you're anything like me, they may already be in bland, nondescript boxes, but you have to crack them all open to remember what's inside them. What if you could solve all of these problems? You've come to the right prize! Be the envy of your gaming table with these stunning, one-of-a-kind (okay, four of a kind, but you get all four) deck boxes. Or, if you don't play card games but still want these boxes, you could use them to hold pencils, small hardware, sewing supplies, interesting rocks, or anything else that needs storage - as long as it's shorter than a few inches in each direction.
This is a set of four laser-engraved wooden boxes. They are constructed in two layers - the inside is birch plywood for strength, and the outside is dark wenge. Each one is inlaid with the logo of one of the Desert Bus driving shifts in brilliant mother-of-pearl. Accent stripes in brightly colored abalone set off the logos. A clear acrylic window in the lid makes it easy to see what's inside. Each one is sized to fit over a hundred double-sleeved TCG cards and includes a small drawer to store counters, dice, or other small objects. Drawers and lids are held safely in place with friction and magnets.
