Live Auction: Delicious in DB: Dungeon Meshi Diorama
Winner: Mr. Horrible for $6,543.21
E-eat the monsters!? I refuse! Not even once! But... It's for charity? Well then, I suppose we could at least try...
Wait! Don't eat the craft, Marcille!
This framed shadowbox depicts a cooking scene inspired by Delicious in Dungeon, popular manga-turned-anime. Laios, Marcille, Chilchuck, and Senshi gather around a small campfire, while Falin and Izutsumi flank a large dragon eye above. The eye and torches in the dungeon glow!
Materials include clay and lightweight resin, painted with acrylics to achieve bright cartoon color. LEDs powered by 2x CR2032 batteries give it a warm dungeon glow.
The plexiglass can be cleaned with a mild soapy solution (if needed) and a microfiber cloth. Do not use glass cleaners, paper towels, or similar: it may fog or scratch. Batteries are user replaceable and easily accessible on the back.
Thank you, and may all your adventures be delicious!
(Special thanks to IsekaiHeavyIndustries, DrDong, ClayRade, and ExhaustedWeeb for the printable character models!)
Raised in a crafting-positive family, Carrie dabbles in many creative hobbies, though scale miniatures are her primary love. She's been painting since 2000, and seriously practicing since 2012. Her first Desert Bus was 5 or 6, and she's been donating to the Craftalong since DB2018. She's got the full Delicious in Dungeon manga set on her bookshelf.
