33 years ago the world was enchanted by a tale as old as time. Now the magic of Disney's animated classic Beauty and the Beast is honored in a one-of-a-kind timepiece. Lovingly crafted and painted by hand, this clock is designed to hang not on a wall but in a window. The center recreates a stained glass scene from the opening of the film, where an old woman offers a selfish prince a single rose in payment for shelter. The enchanted rose petals encircle the clock as hour markers; during the day they glow with natural light, and at night they are illuminated by internal LEDs powered by a built-in solar cell. The clock hands pay tribute to the enduring legacy of the film: the hour hand incorporates the design of the Beast's enchanted mirror from the 2019 film adaptation, and the minute hand is a fleur-de-lis to honor the fairy tale's French origins. This clock measures 14" across by 1.75" deep (not including the hands) and hangs flush on any window using the included mounts. It is made from cow tree wood, acrylic, and matboard, and is powered by 1 AA battery. Care and operation instructions are included.
