From distant fantasy to far-away space, these new silent auctions span many worlds and much imagination. They will be live until 6pm PT today, so let your dreams and bids take you away (as long as you bid responsibly in your sleep)!
The Trans-Jovian Cup

Boost across the solar system in the Sparrow Racing League Trans-Jovian Cup! This season's cup runs beneath the Tangle in Nessus, over the bridges of the Dreaming City, across the glaciers of Europa, and down the ribbons of the Singularity in Unknown Space.
Dungeons and Dragons Themed Tabard

Ready to roll a Natural 20 for style at your next Renaissance Festival, LARP Event, or Game Night? Then look no further than this Dungeons & Dragons Themed Tabard! It has pockets!

Zug zug! Omnicrafter Yalc delved deep into the crafting mines and toiled away to create this set of stained glass style Warcraft woodcuts. Like a good disembodied mouse-click dictator, you can exploit their hard work and make it yours for far less effort by participating in this giveaway!
Donate $8.13 (or multiples thereof) before 11:40am PT for a chance to win!

The auction has ended, raising $3000 USD for the children and inspiring James to dance 3 times in succession! Thank you everyone who participated (watching and cheering for the bidders counts as participation), and congratulations to the winner!
THIS AUCTION WILL BE LIVE AT 10AM! Join on Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/desertbus
We can't all revisit our past and try to learn from it... or wait, yes we can! And if the anime Frieren inspired you to do that just as its titular main character did, perhaps having this tea set in your home will be a daily reminder to stay that course. Its Mirror Lotus decorations and pale blue tones inspired by Frieren's hair pay subtle homage to the anime while providing an elegant tea service for any occasion.
Please NOTE: The Frieren figurine is NOT included in this auction! It's pictured here solely for scale.
To bid, log onto Twitch and make sure that you have linked Desert Bus donor account. Then type your bids into chat after the auction starts at 10am PT! Good luck!

Gather round, ye marvelous glittering creatures! This D&D-inspired makeup set offers plenty of adventurous options for you to explore with 3 color palettes, 10 brushes, 2 lip balms, and 2 lip sticks.
Donate $6.10 (or multiples thereof) before 10:20am PT for a chance to win!

We love our coffee here on Dawn Guard. It fuels our spirits, our competitive sports, and frankly our ability to roll out of bed at 4am and get ready for a Desert Bus shift that starts at 6. Now you too can become a coffee gremlin thanks to this coffee set from Fernwood, which has everything you could possibly want to develop your very own compulsive caffeine cravings! 😴🥱☕🫨😃
UPDATE: We sweetened the coffee pot! This lot now includes a set of 3 regulation coffee pong balls inside a case that's been signed by the entire Dawn Guard crew.
Donate $8.15 (or multiples thereof) by 8:00am PT for a chance to win!
Goodnight, Zeta!
Zeta shift has gone to bed, but we wanted to leave you with the memories of what happened... To all of us.
As is tradition!!
Our bricksplodes adventure continues on! With fiddly bits!
We were treated to homemade (delicious!!) chili thanks to Lord and Lady Hosk! And Beej went hard.
We've officially reached the part of Desert Bus brain where messing with our shift banners seems like a good idea, and, well, this happened.
Zeta continued our domination of the Full Song Dance Party Cheevo board!
We had some wonderful time with live music from Beej, Paul, and David!
And we rounded out our shift with our art contest winners! Thank you for suggesting future theme nights for Zeta, we'll see what we end up doing next year!
And friends, that's a wrap on Tuesday night Zeta! Keep bussing on towards Dawn Guard!
Thank you for all of the theme night ideas that we definitely won't steal for next year! Okay, so we might steal them for next year. You'll just have to tune in to find out!
After some discussion, we were able to finally settle on a winner! But first? The runners up!
First, a written pitch from Catie for Groundhog Day!
- On a night where you have one or more people not onto this bit (guest?), repeat usual shift shenanigans every 60 minutes to two hours.
- Rotate the cushions, Bricksplodes, Karaoke (the same songs), and play along as if it's a normal night.
- Beej asks another stage friend then the guest for their favourite songs every time, and goes to other room to "get a guitar pick".
- Everyone else leaves room (except guest) to grab something too- Set up a puzzle of some kind to help the guest escape the timeloop
This one really got us thinking about how exactly we could make this work, so we had some real fun with it!
Next, Abbs sent us a pitch for a Barbie theme night that was only a bit threatening...

And finally, our winner! Hannah suggested a hobby exchange night, and provided this AMAZING diorama to illustrate it:

Thank you Hannah! Our shipping team will be in touch to send you your loot box winnings of....
A Desert Bus poster pack containing posters from the first ten Desert Buses! Thank you to all of our entrants, and thank you, Hannah!!

We loved Camp Zeta, we had a blast during Slumber Party Night, and now we need ideas for our next theme night!
For our creative challenge tonight, we'd like you to send us your elevator pitch for a new Zeta theme night. It can be anything that YOU think would make a great Zeta shift. Want to see Zeta go to space? Maybe you'd love to see us have Carnival? Is your dream 'Zeta gets to see the sun for once' night? Sell us on it!
Your elevator pitch could be a written plan, a diorama of the set, a power point, whatever you think gets your idea across the best. Just send your pitch to contest@desertbus.org with the subject line "Zeta Theme Night" before 5am PST for a chance to win!
This year, all of our art contest winners will receive a Desert Bus for Hope mystery loot box to be revealed on stream when we announce the winner!
We've reached that point in the run where time is almost meaningless. We do know that our shift is over for another day. What did we accomplish?
We pitched!
We dumped!
We ripped!
We rapped!
We rammed!
We creamed!
And, best of all, we are now 2 for 2 on the Word of the Day!
It's not often that we get to go out on such a triumphant note, but we'll try not to oversleep on our laurels. See you tomorrow night!
For tonight's art challenge, we asked you to create a map of Desert Bus, whatever that might imply. We received a bunch of great entries, and now it's time to show them off!
Honourable mentions:

And the winner is...

Thank you to all of our intrepid cartographers. It was a pleasure to be a part of your world!
