For those who may have missed it, Penny Arcade issued… nay, threw down a gauntlet today.

A gauntlet that a giant might think was a bit roomy. Which brings us to Operation: Infinite Bus. Upon posting it, we had raised $25,520, which was already ahead of last year’s staggering total.

The challenge is such that, if we continue to raise money above and beyond that, then PA will match that amount, up to $10,000.

They want to break our minds to such a level wherein we fear any and all open roads. Possibly even buses. Weep for us.

And… and you know what? Donate. Bring it.

Holy smokes. You people and your giving. Keep up the good work and hell, maybe we could hit that 30,000 mark.

Chat user Dogmeat (real name Nic Boyer) bet that if we beat 20,000 then he would shave his head for the children. Obviously this was all on the honour system, but the man stepped up and let the razer fly!

While I realize it was a long weekend for those of you in the states, I’d hazard to say it was even longer for our drivers. Our ongoing torment will see reprieve today, however, when we receive a call from the beautiful and talented Felicia Day of The Guild, Buffy and Dr. Horrible.
