All About Challenges
What's a challenge?
Challenges are suggestions from the Desert Bus for Hope community of fun things for us to do during the run. If you’ve got a fun idea for a skit, activity, song or any other entertaining thing that you’d love to see us do on-air, send us a challenge and let us know! If you are enjoying what you’re watching, and have the means to do so, we greatly appreciate any donations you’re willing to offer in return for completing challenges. As always, 100% of your donation goes directly to Child’s Play Charity.
What makes a good challenge?
When submitting a challenge, here are some general things to keep in mind...
- We’re a family-friendly fundraising marathon! Please don’t submit challenges that would be inappropriate for a PG audience or risky physical stunts.
- Please keep in mind who’s present in the room when you submit your challenge. We can’t complete challenges that mention specific team members if they’re not around.
- Try to submit challenges that are new and exciting! Don’t worry, common Desert Bus for Hope events will still happen. We also want to wear chicken hats.
- If you’re submitting a challenge that includes content that you’d like us to perform, such as a song or a scripted skit, please be sure to include that content in your submission. We’re more likely to accept challenges that include or link to all the content necessary for us to complete the challenge. Preferably, for longer scripts or lyrics, include a PasteBin link with the text and a short description for your challenge.
