Dawn rises as we approach the fifth day of bussing here at the Moonbase. Andy’s taken over driving duties on the bus and it’s been a night of stellar performances and chill discussions. Here’s some highlights…

Andy started his shift quite harmonically:

The room plays Dis or Dat – Pokemon or Prescription Drug?

Maddie blows the room away with a performance of Defying Gravity, from Wicked:

Oooooh wow, it’s been a fantastic night here at the Moonbase. After Ken Steacy stopped by earlier this evening for the traditional Ken “Value Added” Steacy Power Hour of auctions and giveaways. And then… we took a step back as Cam kicked off a pretty chill shift. Here’s some highlights…

First off, we’ve got an ongoing Creative Challenge! We want to see your best visual interpretations of an optimistic view of the Earth in the 22nd century. We’re accepting submissions until 8:00am PST, so check out the blog post for full details.

With Beej taking the wheel, things got a little Zeta-y a little earlier than usual this evening. Here’s some of the highlights…

We held a late night live auction for this fabulous Breath of the Wild cross-stitch picture, which sold for a whopping $6,665!

Engineering starts playing music at weird speeds and things get weird quickly:

Bengineering gets fed up and goes home (briefly). Jordan… err, I mean Creepy Ben… tries to take the helm:

Beej runs a trivia challenge – based on the name and an image, could you show this anime to your parents?

And finally, everyone tried their hand at dancing, Cam-style:

There were all kinds of things going down today on Meme shift. Let’s break it down!

0266_002_UncutSOIRares

We had some goooooood times with our live auction for an Uncut Sheet of Battle for Zendikar Rares/Mythics, raising over $4000.00 dollars.

We hit $420,000.00 for the year. So Kathleen asked us to celebrate with some Dank Memes. We’ve fallen, and we can’t whaddddddddup!

Tally went Goth earlier in the week, so it’s only fair that Kathleen went happy and upbeat. Between MMMbop and Call Me Maybe, Kaitee<3 took over for Kathleen in the driver chair.

Look at how relaxed this man is! Penn Jillette called in and in typical Penn fashion gave us a whole bunch of goodies to pass on to our chat and raise money for Child’s Play. Penn AND Teller are also making a very generous personal donation to Child’s Play. Thanks Penn!

NOTHING HAPPENED TO JORDAN

NOTHING….you can go find the GIF’s…

We had one of our resident bloggers, Mike “IQ2000” take us through a round of Trivia. The Pit Crew team was unhappy with the loss, but fun was had by the whole crew.

Art CHallenge, LRR Remix

Redd

We did an AMA today over at reddit! We answered questions on camera for a little bit and then moved offscreen to answer some more questions on the site. Give it a read if you have some burning questions that might have been answered!

We had a surprise call-in from Tifa, Mike and Xander Robles! The founder of Lady Planeswalker Society and co. had a lovely chat with us about LPS and communities in gaming. They also ran a giveaway for one of their fabled and highly exclusive playmats!

We auctioned off a chair…I mean there was a bunch of other things as well but we auctioned off a chair. Okay it also is a chair FROM THE INTERNATIONAL DOTA 2 CHAMPIONSHIPS and signed by the winners of the entire tournament, Wings Gaming. It was an auction that accelerated quickly and raised over $4000.00

Mikey Neumann called in and in typical fashion dropped one HECK of a Borderlands Auction bomb on us. Mikey raised a sizeable amount of money with his own personal RC Gentleman Claptrap and several pieces of original art.

OH AND WE HIT 3.5 MILLION DOLLARS RAISED LIFETIME!!!!!!!!!
