What is your stance on erotic Star Trek fan fiction?
What’s your favorite Easter egg or inside joke in your work (and can you explain it)?
In D&D, what design decision are you proudest of or your biggest regret?
Dear Dr. Cline
Did you have an role in the creation of the “true namer” class and if so why?
Dear Dr. Ernie,
1. Ready Player One is absolutely Airwolf (in my top 3 favourites). Any plans for a sequel/new novel/movie adaptation?
2. What advice can you give to an aspiring nerd/writer fresh out of high school?
I really enjoy the Stacks game on the Ready Player One website. What is your high score?
Both Ready Player One and Neal Stephenson’s Reamde (REAM-de, not a typo) came out around the same time. Both dealt with using virtual worlds in replacement to real world actions other than gaming. (Teaching in RPO, airport security lines in Reamde)
Do you think we as a society are ready for virtual worlds to blur into reality large scale like this, or does it just make real good fiction?
How much bacon did you have to edit out of Fanboys?
Dear Doctor Ernie. What do *you* think the third D in D&D&D should be? Delaware, Daves or Deloreans?
Dear Dr. Nerd Porn Auteur: Where do I invest in this very important venture for the children?
Dear Dr. Ernie. How did you get Wil Weaton to narrate Ready Player One?
Dear Dr. Ernie: Are you a native Austinite or an interloper?
What is your favorite inspirational quote from an author?
Are you working on anything new right now?
Im going up 2 Austin 2night & licking ur car so it becomes mine.
Any chance of a sequel to RP1/new book?
Dear Dr. Ernie, you’re stranded on the stereotypical “desert island” and can either be left with A). Every stand up arcade game from Flynn’s Arcade … or B). Erin Gray… Which do you choose?
