Ken: "The wonderful Mari Shimizu was the Astro Boy voice actor for both the B&W cartoons I enjoyed as a boy, and the colour version Alex and Raymond watched decades later. Having written and drawn the Astro Boy comicbook back in the '80s, meeting her was very special for me, and she kindly autographed my Astro pencil case. She also generously signed two prints of my covers, four trading cards, a sketch by her manager Abbey Masahiro, and a baseball cap from the 1950 Atoms Sankei Baseball Club, specifically to donate to Desert Bus. And since they don't call me Ken "Value Added" Steacy for nothing, there's one more item that I'll keep under wraps til my appearance - cheers til then! B^)"
