Silent Auction: Kirby Super Star Ultra Sprite Stitch!

Do you love Kirby? Do you want a LOT of Kirby? Well, now you can have over sixty-thousand stitches worth of Kirby and his friends, enemies, and meals! Measuring at a width of 18.25 inches and a height of 11.50 inches, you'll have 52 different sprites of poyo-tastic delight to brighten up a room and bring a smile to your face. Hours were not tracked in the making of this cross stitch, but it was started in January and finished in September. Stitched with DMC cotton embroidery floss, Super Star Ultra Kirby and friends are depicted in vibrant colours and game-accurate detail. There is also, despite best efforts, a non-zero amount of cat-fluff from the household supurrvisor, Sasha. The piece has been mounted on a black 25 inch by 13 inch frame backed by a metal grid. Smoljigglybug has been playing video games for as long as she can remember, all the way back to playing Duck Hunt with her big brother. Her longest-lived video game loves are the Pokemon, Final Fantasy, and Kirby series - even if she's really bad at beating the games. She learned to cross stitch as a kid, taught by her grandmother and several great aunts. The hobby was put aside as a teenager, but she picked she it back up a few years ago and came to the conclusion that pixel art and cross stitch are meant to be besties. She's planning to learn more complex embroidery to create more stitched friends. Smoljigglybug has never met something round and pink she didn't love, and is amassing an army of plush Kirby and Jigglypuffs in her home - much to the amusement and concern of her wife. Especially since she's also gathering Moogle air support. In FFXIV, she is also known as Moogle Postmaster Cara Weyseid, long-time member of Free Company Undersquallified on Siren server.
