If you need someone to watch your back (and front, and sides, and all other angles) then this is the hydra you're looking for. And as if he weren't already special enough, this guy also has his roots in Desert Bus. During her second year of watching this event, crafter Cheryl Kraus was working on a crochet hydra out of the various left over yarns from other projects. That rather large hydra got named Herman, and became the template for this hydra, which Cheryl has nicknamed "Mini Herman." Obviously you can call him whatever you want - just make sure it's a name he likes too or he might bite one or two or seven of your fingers off.
Mini Herman is roughly 52 inches long when fully stretched out.
Materials: sewing thread, cotton crochet thread, black fabric (to make the stuffing inserts), polyester filling, embroidery floss.
