fierce deity mask in paper maché

This is a skillful paper maché rendering of the Fierce Deity's mask from Legend of Zelda Majora's mask. And instead of trading in twenty other hard-earned masks to get it, you can just trade in some hard-earned cash, to help the children! The mask will fit on an small to average adult head and can be seen through, and though it does not come with ribbon or elastic or other means of attaching it to one's head, those things could be added. Or it will make a wonderfully fierce bit of decor for your home! It is described as being an evil mask, but since it can aid you in boss battles, so it's probably the lesser of two evils.

The mask was made using paper mache over a clay form to create the base and then using craft foam and acryilic mediums to create the hair and cap and then painted. Crafter Anna Braumberger says she has always loved the game Zelda Majora's Mask, and this particular mask pushed the boundries of her technical skills.

Anna Braumberger is a crafter based out of Vancouver Canada who has been making masks for low budget stage productions for 6 years. Her day job is as a Production Assistant for film and television and she is trying to enter a career in props. Anna has a multitude of bizarre talents including building model terrain for tabletop games, cosplaying, writing, singing and being able to bark like a dog. You won't find projects for sale anywhere else, since she generally does not ply her talents with an end to make money from them.

The mask measures approximately 14 inches eartip to eartip, 12 inches from crown to chin and 6 inches deep. Materials: An amazing amount of glue (six kinds actually : Homemade, white, fabric, hot, modge podge, and caulking ), newsprint , craft foam, acrylic mediums and paints.
