Sharon Bruhn, herself an employee at PopCap Games, has made a delightful army of amigurumi Plants versus Zombies amigurumi! Sharon says she loves her job and the characters that the PopCap artists create. Her favorite game is Plants Vs. Zombies, and she loves the cute little plants that populate that game, so she decided to start crocheting them. She started with a Sunflower, and her plant collection just grew (heehee) from there! The next version of PvZ is coming out in the spring and she can't wait to get started on amigurumi models of the next set of plants.
In order to spread the zombie protection around a bit, this PvZ army has being split into units. This unit contains the Chomper, Cherry Bomb & Jalepeno.
Sharon didn't actually know how to crochet until she decided Ishe wanted to make PvZ amigurumi, at which point she learned. She likes to craft a lot, and especially likes to make costumes; Halloween is her favorite holiday!
The plants range in size from 4x4x4 inches to 4x4x10 inches. Materials: acrylic yarn, fiberfill, wire, flowerpots, floral foam, felt, glue.
