This is a handmade plushie of Rainbow Dash from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and we're telling you, this exquisite pony really IS magic. And friendly. She is capable of standing on her own and has a jointed neck that allows her head to rotate. She is made from an original pattern, created by crafter Lavendar Extract through much trial and error. Rainbow Dash's eyes and cutie mark are also, noteably, 100% hand embroidered. (She will, in fact, be the last hand embroidered plushie this crafter makes, as they take far too much time to complete.) This is the first Rainbow Dash plushie that Lavendar Extract has made.

This auction item brings a piece of Hollywood to Desert Bus! That's right, this Snow White & The Huntsman helmet is not a replica. It was made during production alongside all the other helmets and suits of armour that were actually used on screen in the 2012 film Snow White & the Huntsman. It is made of the same material and cast from the same molds, it just never made it out of Quantum's studio. The helmet is made of a thick flexible urethane, the guard is plastic, and the straps are leather. It measures 11 x 11 x 8 inches. And it's shiiiiiiiny! The sort of helmet you can wear for protection and/or for its powers of blinding your enemies. An more...

What better way to keep yourself warm from the cold than an invincibility star?

As an added bonus there are squares on the back of the blanket that are there for you to put your arms through to help keep it in place. So when you're moving the controller around in your hands the blanket won't slide off of you as easily.

You've probably heard that the Mother of Dragons does not part with her children for love or money, or anything else in the world. Well the mother of this dragon is going to make an exception to that rule, parting with this plush replica of Drogon in order to get money for the children.

Dragons are fierce and wild creatures, but they can of course be trained and, to some extent, tamed. Most people fear dragons, because they are rare and unknown and dangerous. But this Drogon, while fierce, also has a distinctly sweet look to his features - he's still just a baby, after all, and he's just looking for a place to fit in and be love more...

This fearsome set of Warhammer miniatures features some delightful (in a terrifying way) detailing. Inspired by a custom drawing Kathleen did of a Creepy Doll themed Marine at the Calgary Comic Expo, crafter Lareina Chan decided to paint all the Dark Angels in this set as a Creep Marine. It took her a bit to figure out what to do the Chaos Space Marines, but then she remembered when Harry the Giant Creepy Doll fought against Cthulhu in Desert Bus 5, so Lareina decided that the Chaos Space Marines should be painted like Cthulhu. On top of those spectacular paint jobs, Lareina has tossed in some extra stuff to make this set that much cooler: th more...

The groundwork for this set of turtles happened a year ago, when she first made a Raphael doll for a friend. From the friend's enthusiastic response, Sarah knew she had to make a set of all four of them, and here that set is now. Admire greatly, for they are awesome!

This scarf was born mostly out of crafter Dawn Friesen's inability to get good tension on multicolor stranded knitting. It turns out that it's much easier to get even stitches in multicolor Tunisian crochet, and has the added bonus of being faster than knitting (for her, at least). If you don't understand what all that means, we offer you our interpretation of it: Dawn has magic powers, and she uses them to create out-of-this-world stuff. The pattern was inspired by a Space Invaders-themed sock pattern* and various online images, with a shout out to LRR and 64k in Player 1's score. The scarf lining is entirely hand sewn and if anyone wants to more...

This scarf is as long as Desert Bus 6! By the time Desert Bus 6 starts, Ked will have been knitting it for about fifty days, but how long it goes depends entirely on how much money Desert Bus raises this year!

Exactly what does that mean? Well, when you knit a scarf you stitch back and forth across the short dimension of the scarf in well-defined rows. Ked is knitting two rows for each hour the Desert Bus crew spends driving the bus, PLUS one row for each thousand dollars raised. This formula was chosen to emphasize both the length of the event as well as the amount of money raised. Since the first hours of Desert Bus cost very l more...
