Ceramic NES cartridges – green and rainbow hued
Here’s a lovely decorative reminder of gaming days gone by, back when the world was tougher and Mario had to trudge uphill in the snow both ways. From the crafter: “The cartridges are roughly 9/ 10 scale. After making plaster moulds off of an original cartridge I was able to produce copies using casting slip. These were fired to a low temperature (900 – 1000°C), glazed, then fired a second time to cone 6 (around 1225°C). They are mainly meant to be decorative, but they can also be used as trivets or coasters, and the glazes are food safe, so you could even eat off of them if you were so inclined.” Yeah, we know you want to. Materials: Earth, Water, Fire, and a pinch of magicite
