It’s over: Desert Bus 2010 has come, it has earned an unfathomable amount of money for Childs Play, and it is now ready to disappear into the night. Thanks you all for making this year’s event such a  resounding success. We are all very tired and about to get some sleep, but stay tuned tomorrow for a bit more closure, after we’ve all picked ourselves off the ground. With $194 000 in donations, this is (again) the most successful Desert Bus ever. Once the e-cheque payments from paypal clear, we are pretty sure we will have crossed $200 000.

Ok, we entered the crazy zone a long time ago: thanks to your help, we have raised a truly crazy amount of money for child’s play! You guys are amazing: thank you so much for making Desert Bus such a huge success!

A huge rush of money from Ken (value added) Steacy has done it, and not only pushed us over the edge of of $140 00, but past last year as well! We are amazed, we are impressed, and we are grateful on behalf of the children. Much love, everyone–now let’s see how high we can get this bus!

FOR THE CHILDREN!!

One of the general rules of Desert Bus is the less frequently milestone pictures go up, the busier we are, and the better things are going. As indicated by a general lack of milestones for most of today, we are doing very, very well, sitting only $10 000 shy of last year’s astonishing Desert Bus finish. The prospect of doing better is in sight. Can you taste it? Let’s push on past and see if we cam kick this bus into overdrive!

Catching up, yes: we beat 115k as well, thanks to the amazing power of Matt’s animal magnetism. Possibly the closest anyone’s come to literally prostituting themselves for the children, but still totally worth it!

Sorry that these are gettign less frequent, even as doantions continue to increase: we’ve been very busy on camera, hustling for donations! I’ll attempt to do these with greater promptness.
