Well, we’ve had a very eventful night – we broke our all time record donation with an amazing $1375 donation by this dude named Octopimp, who is apparently Chuck Norris, the Easter Bunny and Damon Albarn (what? I think Blur is super keen!) all in one – he bid on a fantastic super rare, ultra limited edition Star Wars print by Ken Stacey (FYI the original was purchased by George Lucas!). We also sold an incredible original commission of Okami artwork (for the bargin  price of $500), and two signed comic books. Ken is made of win.

Anyhow, we got a bunch of amazing graphics, wrote haikus to honour Octopimp (who’s actually too cool for us), and received an incredible remix of Graham’s rendition of “Re: Your brains” as done as Billy Mays (RIP).

And like a shot we’re up to $56 000. The bus is the Flash. Officially.

We totally passed nine points on Desert Bus a couple hours ago, but in the excitement of auctions, dancing and so on, we completely didn’t mention it. Next up: 10!! Bus hard, team.

Thanks to a couple of AMAZING auctions, we have just bypassed $54 000 to hit $55 000. Wow. I am speechless.

We had just barely hit 52 000, and now I’m making another post! Wow! Keep on rolling for the children!

If we had gathered a thousand dollars per week since the last Desert Bus, we would currently be at $52 000. As-is, we have been going for just over three days and have done it anyway. GG, everyone!

51 grand is what happens when 50K has a very small baby money … and the Desert Bus has now collected that.

Holy cow, you guys! We are halfway to $100 000 … amazing? Can we do it!? Can we send Matt to see Twilight like six times in one day?

Yes, we have made $49 000 for the children. Sadly there are no milestone pictures to commemorate this. Thankfully, we already have PLENTY of $50 000 pics, so just you wait!

There are lots of dollars in the world, and now the children have 48 000 of them. They are very special dollars.
