So operation kill James is off to a great start. Donations haven’t been open for 24 hours yet and it would appear we are just over 10% of the way to the $10,000.00 goal.
Know everyone knows that a really big part of desert bus is making us do silly crap for your donations. So for all those who plan on donating early to get me to drive for 12 hours straight don’t let that stop you from also suggestions something silly that everyone else can do as well. When you make your donation you should have a option to put in a comment, make sure to leave a message for us there, and we will go through them all in order when we start the event…
Thought I’d post this too. If 500 dollars come in tagged with “Send Brad to Britain” before the beginning of DB09, I will go to Britain. So hey Brits! Pop off some quid this way, what?

So slightly random. I have been trying to create a program to take a given donation level and convert it to how many hours you have to drive and vice versa and have had no luck. I have tried half a dozen formulas to try to get it to match with how you describe it and the examples given. I’ve depleted all of my math skills. Can someone please help figure out what the actual formula is.

I understand how the cost of each individual hour is computed I am trying to find the total donations at a certain point. So far if I want to know what the total donations would need to be to reach say 4 hours I need to add the cost of the first hour to the cost of the second, third, and fourth hour. I am trying to find a better way of doing that.

How often do you manually update the donations bar? I want to see how far we are from tying James to the Bus with shackles made of money.
Also, good going guys. Your sleepless, bus-filled agony will be a boon to mankind(s hospital bound children).
We check the totals on a daily basis so chances are what you see is fairly up to date.
Are there siggys to advertise Desert Bus 3 in forums?
