Just when you thought desert bus was done and over with, we do this!!!
Tomorrow night at 7:30 PST, Graham, Paul, Bill, Morgan, Matt, Jer and Myself will be jumping back on the webcam to conduct one last hour of live desert bus fun. We will be giving out huge thanks to all that deserve, recalling some of the more insane moments and making Morgan drive just one more hour!! The chat will be open to all. So clear your evening. Should be a lot of fun.

Make Kathleen drive? She had to fly out to like Vancouver, I think. Which if google maps is to be believe is only 109 km (68 miles) by the route they suggest.
I can understand that along with the “we’re 5 minutes over” along with “as awesome as it is for people to donate, we don’t want to be playing FOREVER” since you’d see this final barrage of donations in the last few seconds every final hour. The Thursday sign-off should give something for everyone. More LRR streaming video with chat, Morgan pwning desert bus with his mad skills, and Child’s play STILL gets over 22k.

I have to agree… accidentally banned me just before I was going to bed last night… made me very sad since I wanted to be able come back on this morning to congratulate, at least I still was able to /msg them… Just use an actual IRC client, or at least one of you use an actual IRC client, and then have your LRR user op the person on the actual IRC client so they can fix that stuff…

I was telling people not to donate because we were over time. If you wanted to keep us tortured, donating at that point would have been, at best, unfulfilling.
Anyhow, Graham had a final project critique at 9:30 am, and Morgan had to work, so it was probably better that we finished up when we did.
As for me, I live and work in Vancouver, and I had to return. While it may only be 109 kilometers, it’s 109 km over water, you have to either fly or boat into Victoria. I flew back that less than 20 minutes after the drive was over.

Well, I’m all for recording, even though I *WILL* be there; others will not.

Just to add my 2 cents on Kathleen telling people to stop donating….
No matter how much fun this was, at some point in time it had to stop so people could get back to their lives. I’m just happy it went on as long as it did! It really grew into a life of its own! I hope to see something like it next year!

Lyph3, are you sure you’re not thinking of one of the other girls? Kathleen’s 20 questions was trying to keep things interesting for everyone in the chat, and I thought she did a stellar job. There were definitely some attention grabbers there, but I truly don’t think she was one of them.
